What happens next
After validation, the portal will try your device location first. If that fails, you can enter the complete site postcode. The existing limit of three failed manual postcode searches in 24 hours still applies.

The portal records these details, the requesting IP address, the site lookup and which public document is opened. A telephone number can be format-validated here; proving ownership would require a separate SMS verification service.
